Some will see a hopeless end. 

Others will see endless hope. 

This photographic study depicts a multitude of complicated emotions. Brett is a 22 year old student who was diagnosed with HIV three years ago. Today, he stands strong, unwavering in his courage and emboldened by hope. The purpose of this study is to document this young man's story, his individual challenges as well as his personal triumphs. My intention is to support Brett's integrity and affirm his dignity and his personal power. I hope to increase HIV/AIDS awareness and to reinforce the message that the war against HIV/AIDS is everpresent. Brett is determined to live a passionate and purposeful life.
